San Francisco War Memorial Opera House
San Francisco War Memorial Opera House is part of the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center established in 1932. It has survived through some very tough times, The Depression, WWII and a few earthquakes even the Loma Prieta. Millions have been spent keeping this facility updated with state of the art technology. San Francisco Ballet has even produced a recent production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker which was telecast by PBS and made available on DVD.
